Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Procurement Team Lead to join our dynamic team in Pfaffenhofen. As a key member of our procurement organization, you will be responsible for leading the Capex Procurement function, driving strategic sourcing initiatives, and ensuring the delivery of best-in-class procurement services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Category Management
    • Develop and execute category strategies in alignment with business objectives
    • Establish measures and controls to track successful implementation
    • Drive sustainable improvements and cost savings
  • Strategic Sourcing
    • Lead and execute RFPs to secure best value for money
    • Negotiate optimal terms and conditions with suppliers
    • Monitor and manage relationships with vendors
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead a small team of direct reports
    • Actively develop team skills and expertise
    • Promote a positive environment within the department
  • Compliance and Procurement Excellence
    • Conduct all activities in accordance with company policies and procedures
    • Act as a role model promoting compliance and ensuring adherence to company policies and external regulations

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Procurement or related field/Business Administration
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in Procurement, with previous team lead role
  • Strong negotiation skills combined with contractual/legal knowledge
  • Result-Driven, with excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to partner with the business
  • Fluent in English and German
