Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Procurement Team Lead to join our dynamic team in Pfaffenhofen. As a key member of our procurement organization, you will be responsible for leading the Capex Procurement function, driving strategic sourcing initiatives, and ensuring the delivery of best-in-class procurement services.
Key Responsibilities
- Category Management
- Develop and execute category strategies in alignment with business objectives
- Establish measures and controls to track successful implementation
- Drive sustainable improvements and cost savings
- Strategic Sourcing
- Lead and execute RFPs to secure best value for money
- Negotiate optimal terms and conditions with suppliers
- Monitor and manage relationships with vendors
- Team Leadership
- Lead a small team of direct reports
- Actively develop team skills and expertise
- Promote a positive environment within the department
- Compliance and Procurement Excellence
- Conduct all activities in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Act as a role model promoting compliance and ensuring adherence to company policies and external regulations
Requirements
- Master's degree in Procurement or related field/Business Administration
- Minimum 10 years' experience in Procurement, with previous team lead role
- Strong negotiation skills combined with contractual/legal knowledge
- Result-Driven, with excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to partner with the business
- Fluent in English and German
