Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Team Lead to join our dynamic team in Pfaffenhofen. As a key member of our procurement organization, you will be responsible for leading the procurement of capital expenditure projects, ensuring that we receive value for money across products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute category strategies in alignment with key stakeholders, establishing measures and controls to track successful implementation and drive sustainable improvements.
  • Lead and execute Requests for Proposal (RFPs) to secure best value for money, negotiating optimal terms and conditions with suppliers.
  • Monitor and manage relationships with vendors, ensuring contracts are negotiated, established, and executed as per agreement, and resolving performance gaps.
  • Establish contingency plans to prevent potential shortcomings of suppliers or material disruptions.
  • Oversee overall category management, including supplier relationship management, performance monitoring, qualification of Preferred Suppliers, Third Party Due Diligence, and risk mitigation.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Procurement or a related field/Business Administration.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in Procurement, with a previous team lead role.
  • Strong negotiation skills combined with contractual/legal knowledge.
  • Result-Driven, with excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to partner with the business.
  • Fluent in English and German.
