Job Highlights
As the Business Services Procurement Manager, you will oversee the procurement of indirect spend and develop strategies for various business services categories, including Facility Management, Professional Services (HR and Consultancy), Marketing and Communications, Travel and Mobility, and Finance Services.
- Formulate and execute a category strategy and an approved plan for Business Services categories
- Negotiate and manage contracts with service providers for Business Services categories
- Lead the development and implementation of the strategy for Indirect Spend in the Category, prioritizing purchasing projects
- Facilitate global cross-functional purchasing discussions with lead buyers for the Business Services categories
- Manage key supplier relationships and track their performance through the Supplier Development Program
- Achieve year-over-year savings and implement cost reduction initiatives
- Foster knowledge sharing, collaboration, and effective communication among Category managers and buyers within the Category
- Cultivate relationships with internal stakeholders during projects
- Enhance the recognition of the LANXESS Purchasing profile within the internal community
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in procurement or a relevant technical field
- Possesses extensive knowledge and experience in the indirect procurement of Business Services, with a minimum of 8 years in the field
- Demonstrates strong analytical and spend analysis skills
- Is a collaborative team player, adaptable, and capable of navigating uncertainty
- Thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Is fluent in English
