Technical Support Associate

We're seeking a Technical Support Associate to join our team at PikeTec. In this role, you will provide technical support for our local team in Berlin, Germany, and other offices in EMEA. Your responsibilities will include supporting end-users, troubleshooting network issues, and providing remote data center and engineering support for Windows and Linux infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting end-users and troubleshooting network issues
  • Providing remote data center and engineering support for Windows and Linux infrastructure
  • DevOps support and network troubleshooting

Requirements:

  • Network troubleshooting knowledge
  • Familiarity with Apache, Jenkins, MySQL, PostgreSQL, LDAP
  • Programming skills in Shell scripting, Perl, Python
  • Virtualization (VMware, XEN, Docker) is a plus
  • Network based storage (NFS, CIFS, iSCSI) is a plus

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in Windows OS (Server/Workstation)
  • Experience with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook...)
  • Experience in Linux (RHEL/CentOS, SuSE and Debian/Ubuntu)
  • Good English skills (writing and verbal)
