Project Overview:

K-tronik GmbH is seeking a skilled Cloud Network Engineer to enhance our client's operations in the aviation industry. This permanent role involves working with cutting-edge technologies in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage, implement, and maintain network infrastructures for hybrid multi-cloud settings.
  • Ensure network systems comply with industry standards as organizations transition to cloud services.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Microsoft Azure or AWS and associated cloud networking solutions.
  • Possess a deep understanding of network technologies and vendors, including Palo Alto, Aruba, LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, Firewalls, SDWAN, Load Balancers, Routing, and Switching.
  • Develop network services utilizing infrastructure as code to promote automation.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, market research, and vendor assessments.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to maintain compliance with security protocols.
  • Ensure network reliability through proactive monitoring and alert systems.
  • Oversee operational responsibilities and documentation for the connectivity network infrastructure.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in technology or computer science, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in designing, implementing, and managing network infrastructures.
  • Familiarity with Aruba OS-CX and/or Cisco IO.
  • Knowledge of Internet routing protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, MPLS, IS-IS, and/or OSPF, as well as IPSec, VPNs, DNS, SSL, and other network services.
  • Experience with operational technology architectures and SDWAN implementations.
  • Strong automation skills and proficiency in scripting/programming.
  • Fluency in English is essential. Additional language skills are a plus.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira & Confluence is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with public cloud providers like Azure and AWS is beneficial.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, DHCP, and NAT.
  • Experience with the ITIL framework and IT Service Management.
  • Desirable certifications include Cloud (AWS, Azure, etc.), Palo Alto Suite, Aruba, Aviatrix, Cisco, Security+, and ITIL 4 Foundation.
  • Project management certification is also desirable.
