About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Sustainability & ESG Manager to join our Sustainability team in Munich, Germany.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and expand ESG projects to achieve the company's global sustainability vision.
- Collaborate with various functions across Europe and globally to drive sustainability initiatives.
- Develop and implement strategies to meet EU requirements on sustainability reporting (CSRD, Taxonomy).
- Conduct benchmarks in the sustainability area, evaluate and analyze results, and identify emerging trends.
- Proactively seek creative solutions to potential issues and drive cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements:
- University degree in sustainability, business administration, social sciences, or similar courses of study.
- 5-6 years of experience in sustainability and ESG management, with a strong understanding of current and upcoming sustainability requirements.
- Professional experience with sustainability reporting, reporting frameworks, and requirements.
- Strong strategic thinking and project management skills, with experience in a cross-functional role.
- Entrepreneurial thinking, good comprehension, and a structured way of working.
- Proven interdisciplinary work ability and team orientation, with a sense of responsibility and high commitment.
- Excellent MS Office skills and English language proficiency.
