The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Sales Manager to join our team at Abbott Diabetes Care - Abbott GmbH in Colone, Duesseldorf, Duisburg. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving profitable growth in the assigned region and leading a team of sales representatives.

Your Tasks:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales and market share targets, KPIs as defined, and drive profitable growth in the assigned region.
  • Lead a team of 8-12 direct reports (Sales Representatives) and ensure they are equipped to meet their sales targets.
  • Ensure all activities are performed in compliance with quality system requirements.
  • Drive profitable growth in the assigned region through volume, account, and expense management.
  • Ensure the delivery of targets through individual recognition, performance review, people management, and reward.
  • Successfully implement country product launches.

Your Qualification:

  • Postgraduate diploma or university degree and 3-5 years of leadership experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in either Pharma or Medical Device.
  • Strong knowledge of competitive and diabetes technology landscape.
  • Proven ability to work as a RSM with KOLs in the Healthcare segment.
  • Fluent in German and good in English language.
  • Experience in leading high-performance teams.
  • Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Very engaging and strong motivational skills.
