Project Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to contribute to the development of hydropower projects at various stages, from feasibility studies to detailed design and construction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct civil and structural engineering assessments for hydropower projects, including feasibility studies, basic design, and detailed design.
  • Review and comment on existing civil and structural designs for HPP project components.
  • Provide design review services as an Owner's Engineer during the execution phase of hydropower projects worldwide.
  • Perform structural stability analysis of hydraulic structures, such as weirs, barrages, dams, and waterways.
  • Design and analyze different components of hydropower structures on the detailed design level, including layout and reinforcement drawings.
  • Utilize finite element analysis of structures and commercial structural analysis and design software packages.
  • Prepare technical specifications for civil works.
Your Profile

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on structural engineering and hydraulics.
  • More than 10 years of experience working in a similar context, preferably as a structural engineer in hydropower projects.
  • Experience in relevant engineering topics with the application of standard software tools.
  • Familiarity with BIM and Autodesk products, such as Revit and Civil3D.
  • Basic knowledge of geotechnical design for structural analysis and design of foundations and stability analysis of structures.
  • Familiarity with American and European design standards and codes.
  • Working experience on international and national levels.
  • Fluency in English and good knowledge of French.
  • Willingness to undertake regular trips to project countries.
