Senior Mechanical Engineer for International Hydropower Projects

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Germany. As a key member of our international hydropower projects team, you will be responsible for advising clients on electromechanical and mechanical engineering aspects of hydropower plants.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct feasibility studies and detail engineering for hydropower projects
  • Prepare conceptual designs, studies, plans, and project documentation
  • Conduct surveys, inspections, and assessments of facilities in due diligence and rehabilitation projects
  • Compile tender dossiers, technical specifications, and contract documents
  • Review documents of contractors and suppliers
  • Participate in on-site tests and supervise the installation and commissioning of equipment and systems
About You
  • University degree in mechanical engineering or a similar qualification
  • Extensive professional experience in power plant engineering, ideally specializing in hydropower projects
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Fluent in German and English, with additional language skills an advantage
  • Willingness to travel for projects (approx. 20-25%)
