Job Title: IT Specialist (Customer Support)

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Specialist (Customer Support) to join our team at U.S. Army Europe and Africa. As a key member of our Information Technology Section, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and customer assistance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide complex IT support, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and customer assistance
  • Serve as Tier 2 support for IT users, assessing and solving local IT-related problems
  • Create, administer, and repair user and group accounts, coordinate with IA and network manager on network, server, and workstation security issues
  • Install and configure software applications, provide technical support, and administer network security
  • Ensure all workstations remain in an operational status by monitoring them and identifying and reporting problems immediately
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of system administration, automation security, Windows/Unix/Linux based operating systems, and basic software
  • Good communication skills and ability to deal directly with customers/end users
  • Ability to obtain and sustain the appropriate training levels to be granted system access
Preferred Skills:
  • Security + CE certification
  • German driver's license class B
  • Office automation skills
Language Proficiency:

English and German Language Proficiency level C1 required.
