Job Title: Power Electronics Application Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Power Electronics Application Engineer to join our team at Infineon Technologies. As a key member of our technical marketing team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative power electronics solutions for our customers in the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop power electronics solutions for industrial applications, including selection and design of IGBTs, MOSFETs, power modules, and control circuits.
  • Maximize future business for Infineon products by identifying potential sockets and leveraging our wide product portfolio.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and customers to define new products and derivatives, and act as a technical interface and consultant.
  • Derive customer requirements and market trends to develop system value propositions, and proactively manage projects with the sales department to achieve design-win targets.
  • Establish and maintain excellent relationships with technical decision makers at customers and internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience as a Field Application Engineer or Design Engineer in power electronics, with a focus on selection and design of IGBTs, MOSFETs, power modules, and control circuits.
  • Practical lab experience, thermal or EMC design, layout, and simulations.
  • Project management skills, self-motivated follow-up on action items.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, German, Spanish, or French.
