Key Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and maintenance of networks, servers, and other IT systems, ensuring smooth operation
  • Identification and resolution of hardware and software issues
  • Installation and configuration of network and computer systems
  • Support in setting up hardware and software
  • Management of email servers, firewall systems, and network security
  • Ensuring data security, backup, and restoration functions

Requirements

  • Completed education or degree in computer science or comparable qualification
  • Comprehensive knowledge of network administration, server maintenance, and repair, as well as troubleshooting
  • Comprehensive administration skills in Microsoft Server and Linux Server technologies
  • Comprehensive experience in working with common firewalls such as Cisco and Juniper
  • Good knowledge of installing and configuring network and computer systems
  • Experience in documenting IT processes and procedures
  • Very good German language skills in writing and speaking
