Position and Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for the commercial success of our Lung Cancer ADCs in your region, ensuring growth in line with the company's strategic plan. You will report to the Director Marketing & Sales Lung/Gastric Cancer:

  • Build, lead, coach, and develop a high-performing pharmaceutical sales team with several Key Account Managers (KAM)
  • Active participation in the development of short- and long-term commercial plans, including preparation and execution of product launches
  • Definition and implementation of sales strategies and effective management of team performance to achieve sales targets and increase market share
  • Regular analysis of your regional market and development of regional strategies, including annual planning of all activities to secure and expand our market position
  • Creation of business plans and budget responsibility, ensuring a precise overview of expenses and adherence to agreed budgets
  • Building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including alliance partners, based on trust, respect, and open dialogue
  • Creation of a training and development plan for the KAM team in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external alliance partners
  • Active participation in the design and integration of new sales channels
  • Development and implementation of standards in project management and strategic account planning
  • Organization and execution of regional meetings

Requirements:

  • University degree in natural sciences or marketing/economics-related degree/MA/PhD in natural sciences
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry in the field of oncology, preferably in the area of lung cancer
  • Leadership experience and expertise in sales
  • Excellent understanding of developments in the healthcare sector and their impact
  • Excellent understanding of strategic and tactical business planning processes
  • Customer-oriented and sales-oriented mindset
  • Proof of successful project management, including coordination of extensive resources and multiple interest groups
  • Excellent leadership qualities and proven ability to work in an international company
  • Excellent data analytical skills
  • Solution-oriented communication, confident appearance, persuasion, and enthusiasm, even in challenging situations
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Willingness to travel
  • 'Hands-on' mentality
  • Excellent knowledge of the German language in writing and speaking, as well as good English skills
  • Competent handling of Microsoft Office software products and the ability to quickly adapt and take over developing technologies such as CRM, digital media, and social media
