About the Role
The Director of Sales and Account Management will play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of Experian's sales and account management in the finance and payment sector. As a key member of the team, you will have the opportunity to drive growth, expand our reach nationally and internationally, and leave your mark on the industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Sales & Account Management Finance & Payment division, ensuring alignment with Experian's standards, strategies, and targets.
- Support national and international customers from the Finance & Payment industry, providing professional support, managing client relationships, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement the existing sales strategy to meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the company's revenue growth.
- Manage the budget for the department, including resources, hiring, and personnel planning, ensuring the team operates within set financial parameters.
- Collaborate with product and solution teams to innovate and enhance industry-specific solutions, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of customers.
- Conceptualize and execute customer events, lectures, trade fair presences, and other engagement activities in collaboration with marketing.
Requirements
- Strong sales orientation and excellent network management skills.
- Several years of experience and excellent knowledge of the finance & payment industry and in the areas of risk and fraud management.
- Excellent network/contacts in the finance and payment industry.
- Proven experience in solution sales and the support of major customers.
- Analytical, conceptual, and entrepreneurial thinking skills.
- Positive mindset and hands-on mentality.
- Negotiating skills and closing strength, confident in communicating with decision-makers even at the C-level.
- Very good communication and presentation skills in German and English.
- Willingness to travel.
