Product Management Leader

VITRONIC Machine Vision is seeking a Product Management Leader to join our team in Wiesbaden. As a Product Management Leader, you will be responsible for managing all HW products and SW platforms used as core building blocks for generic as well as customer-specific E2E solutions offered by Vitronic and/or sold stand-alone as "open market products" directly to end customers or via channel partners.

Main Responsibilities

  • Definition and management of generic HW products and SW platforms with a high focus on reusability and synergies.
  • Each HW product and SW platform is being managed over the entire life cycle starting from the early product/platform idea to product/platform end of life by a Product Manager using standard product management process methodology.
  • Product and Platform Management is striving for an innovative, customer-oriented and competitive product & platform portfolio.

Requirements

  • Technical and economic background (university or higher technical college degree in engineering with business studies, technical degree with business experience).
  • First leadership skills.
  • Sound professional experience in product management (market analysis, business planning, requirement management etc.).
  • Expert knowledge in the Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) field.
  • Strategic thinking, analytical and conceptual skills are well developed.
  • A very good command of English.
