Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Director, Development Delivery, EMEA to lead our development team in Europe, Middle East, and Africa. This is a key leadership role that will be responsible for overseeing the entire development process, from concept to commissioning, and ensuring that our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Development and Standardization
    • Develop and implement a standardized construction program to ensure consistency and efficiency across all projects.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and refine project tools, processes, and procedures.
  • Project Management
    • Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all projects are aligned with strategic corporate objectives.
    • Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
  • Leadership and Collaboration
    • Provide leadership and guidance to the development team, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and support to deliver high-quality results.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless integration and coordination.
  • Quality Assurance and Control
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive QA/QC program to ensure that all projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
    • Identify and mitigate risks early in the project lifecycle.
  • Vendor and Contractor Management
    • Manage vendor and contractor relationships, ensuring that they meet the necessary standards and requirements.
    • Develop and manage master service agreements and project authorizations.
  • Lessons Learned and Continuous Improvement
    • Identify and document lessons learned from each project, ensuring that they are incorporated into future projects.
    • Continuously improve processes and procedures to ensure that they are aligned with best practices and industry standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in a management role, with 10-15 years preferred.
  • Proven experience in data center development and construction management.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
