Role Overview:
As a key contributor to our innovative projects, you will be responsible for:
  • Designing and executing feasibility studies to validate new development concepts.
  • Maintaining high standards of experimental quality and deep theoretical understanding throughout the product lifecycle, from initial research to full-scale production.
  • Addressing complex challenges by formulating effective solutions and strategies, showcasing your analytical skills.
  • Collaborating with team members to develop control software for various hardware components.
  • Documenting the product development process clearly and comprehensively.
  • Applying principles related to intellectual property when preparing invention disclosures, patents, and publications, ensuring the safeguarding of innovative ideas.
  • Engaging positively with external customers and collaborators, representing the company effectively.
Qualifications:
  • A proven track record of industrial experience or several years in academia, particularly in developing sophisticated software solutions for analytical instrumentation.
  • Strong ability to work both collaboratively in a team and independently, with a structured and detail-oriented scientific approach.
  • Proficient in designing and implementing automated tuning routines using Python or similar scripting languages.
  • Demonstrated expertise in instrument control, scripting, or automation of experimental processes.
  • Experience in mass spectrometry and its applications is advantageous.
