Financial Management and Control

At HRS Group, we recognize the importance of finance as a value-enabling function that drives our business success. To ensure efficient financial management and control, our team handles major responsibilities such as financial and cash flow management, accounting, advising, and longer-term financing, tax management, investment management, purchasing, controlling, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as financial reporting and analysis. This enables us to support all business activities and make key strategic decisions.

Shared Service and Expertise

Our finance department is set up as a shared service for the HRS Group, with a cross-location team of experts headed by the CFO and his management team. We work on standardized workflows to increase efficiency and apply state-of-the-art decision-making tools and principle-based recommendations to foster organizational resilience in times of rapid change.

Key Challenges and Responsibilities

  • Developing processes and implementing new requirements in a rapidly changing environment
  • Coordinating with tax authorities and audits (GK, BZST, Payroll audit)
  • Adapting to German and international requirements
  • Coordinating with external advisors

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Passion for the topic of taxes
  • Several years of extensive experience in tax and first experience in guiding junior colleagues in an efficient and respectful manner
  • Specific knowledge and experience in national and international tax law
  • Willingness to familiarize yourself with new requirements
  • Solid understanding of interactions between tax measures and requirements
  • Ideal candidate is a tax consultant or has several years of experience in a comparable position
  • Good presentation and communication skills and the ability to clearly communicate complex tax-related information to non-finance colleagues
  • Fluent in German and English, spoken and written
