About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineering Manager to join our team as a Lead Engineer / Engineering Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of software engineers and architects to design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge software solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate code reviews and participate in pair programming sessions to ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
  • Design and develop system architecture and components, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Evaluate technical feasibility and provide high-level and low-level estimations for projects.
  • Maintain a clear vision of the team's technical stack and assist in adopting new technologies as needed.
  • Conduct R&D and POCs to ensure the team is using the latest effective technologies.
  • Ensure engagement, deliver quality work, and promote optimal performance for every team member.
  • Measure progress and velocity, manage risks and issues, and hold teams accountable for their commitments.
  • Develop, coach, and mentor team members, removing roadblocks to their work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Time-management, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Deep understanding of software architecture and design principles, clean code, and best practices.
  • Cloud Native architectures and technologies.
  • Updated with the latest industry trends.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and thrive in a team environment.
  • Fluent in English (proficiency in additional languages, especially German, is a major advantage).
  • Passionate about innovation and committed to continuous learning.
