SAP TM/EWM Solutions Expert

The IT Application Services department at Covestro is responsible for implementing and operating business applications. As a key partner, we rely on SAP products such as SAP Transportation Management (TM), S/4HANA, SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), and SAP Global Trade Services (GTS). This role focuses on tasks related to TM and EWM:

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the modernisation of our SAP landscape with a focus on S/4HANA
  • Assess business requirements for technical and functional feasibility and alignment with our IT strategy
  • Design and implement new functionalities, including testing and stakeholder communication
  • Manage implementation projects with local, regional, or global scope
  • Provide expertise to resolve complex support tickets
  • Collaborate with external service partners to ensure compliance with project results and Covestro knowledge
  • Stay up-to-date with market solutions and IT trends in the task area and share knowledge with the team
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and flexibility (Covestro's C3 values)
Requirements
  • Technical or university degree in computer science/business informatics or a comparable qualification
  • Proven experience in SAP TM and SAP EWM technologies
  • Strong functional and procedural knowledge in mentioned areas, including neighbouring logistics processes in MM, SD, GTS
  • Experience in project management and leadership skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical abilities
  • Ability to work in flexible and agile teams and communicate effectively with colleagues from diverse cultures
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
