SAP TM/EWM Solutions Expert

The IT Application Services department at Covestro is responsible for implementing and operating business applications. As a key partner, we rely on SAP products such as SAP Transportation Management (TM), S/4HANA, SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), and SAP Global Trade Services (GTS). This role focuses on tasks related to TM and EWM:

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the modernization of our SAP landscape with a focus on S/4HANA
  • Assess business requirements for technical and functional feasibility and alignment with our IT strategy
  • Design and implement new functionalities, including testing and stakeholder communication
  • Manage implementation projects with local, regional, or global scope
  • Resolve complex support tickets using expertise
  • Manage external service partners for compliance with project results and Covestro knowledge
  • Stay up-to-date with market solutions and IT trends, sharing knowledge with the team
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and flexibility (Covestro's C3 values)
Requirements
  • Technical or university degree in computer science/business informatics or equivalent
  • Proven experience in SAP TM and EWM technologies
  • Strong functional and procedural knowledge in logistics processes, including MM, SD, and GTS
  • Project management experience and leadership skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
  • Experience working in flexible and agile teams
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in written and spoken English
