Job Description

As an Employee Relations Specialist at Delivery Hero, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of consistent, knowledgeable, and professional services in areas including disciplinary, grievance, probation, performance, long-term sick leave, and more. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring all such matters are handled in line with policy, best practice, and legislative requirements to mitigate risk.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide ER advice and guidance to People Partners (HRBPs) and business leaders on reorganization and restructuring activity in line with local employment practices and employment law.
  • Support the curation and delivery of relevant training and education to improve HRBP and leader effectiveness and drive better ER decisions.
  • Build partnerships with business leaders and our People Partner team (HRBPs) to sustain positive employee relations practices.
  • Foster strong working relationships with our Employment Legal team, compliance, and investigations teams to balance risk and assist in calibrating recommendations for decision-making.
  • Prepare information and documentation to advise on business decisions and consult with works councils.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in HRBP (preferred) or other People roles (i.e. HR Support, Employee Relations, People Analytics, etc.).
  • Bachelor's degree, ideally focusing on HR, employment law, or a similar field.
  • Fluency in English; German is a plus.
  • Experience in negotiations with the Workers Council from an HR perspective.
  • Highly passionate about creative problem-solving and excellent interpersonal skills and communication with an eye for detail.
  • Structured thinker with experience in program/project management.
  • Progressive, hands-on, and customer-obsessed person with credibility and gravitas to succeed in a fast-moving and customer-focused high-tech environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to connect at all levels of an organization and foster positive collaborative environments and relationships.
  • Team player who loves to think outside the box.
