Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute market growth strategies to drive revenue and expand our customer base.
- Collaborate with sales teams to pursue and support solution sales, ensuring alignment with our value proposition.
- Utilize Zayo's Salesforce platform to provide transparent visibility of activity and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Design and implement solutions for customers requiring guidance on their application landscape.
- Establish and maintain mutually beneficial, long-term strategic partnerships.
- Elevate the benefits of Infrastructure services and Zayo's value proposition through internal and external evangelism.
- Drive programmatic growth initiatives and identify organic and inorganic investment opportunities.
- Engage with C-Level and VP/Director-level stakeholders to build relationships and drive business outcomes.
- Negotiate options to sell and/or exchange through asset trade opportunities.
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, or Economics, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 8+ years' experience in sales, business development, product management, account management, or sales engineering, including knowledge of business customer applications in dark fibre, fibre optic construction, and network services.
- Solid understanding of the cloud, colocation, and data centre ecosystem.
- Good understanding of the regulated industry (Government, Utilities) process to contract services.
- Solid understanding of Fibre, Transport, and Layer 3 Services (Dark Fibre, Private Dedicated Networks, Fibre Construction Services, Wavelengths, Ethernet, IP Transit, and Cloud Interconnection).
- Sound business judgement, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills are critical to success in this position.
- Ability to communicate effectively with various functional teams and possess strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong PC skills, including MS Office, G-Suite, and CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce).
- Strong business acumen and excellent English language skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve customer issues or seek proper internal resources to facilitate resolution.
- Ability to multitask, facilitate customer service, and solve problems.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
