Sample Management Coordinator

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sample Management Assistant to join our team at Adecco Personaldienstleistungen GmbH. As a pioneer in personnel services, we have been successfully bringing companies and people together for almost 60 years.

This role is responsible for reviewing and committing digital forms, managing sample tracking and forecasting, and providing operational support for SampleGISTICS Services projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and commit digital forms and manage sample tracking/forecasting per study contract and OSD specifications.
  • Provide sample tracking services for the company's SampleGISTICS Services projects (SGS) and work closely with other staff within SGS and with the PRM department.
  • Manage sample check-in/chain-of-custody and coordinate shipping sample specimens to labs and sponsors.
  • Perform specimen storage at all temperatures, including LN2, and prepare reports (e.g. inventory reports, department specific reports, etc.).
  • Resolve sample discrepancies and monitor edit checks and QC forms as necessary.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong planning and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent listening and verbal comprehension skills, including ability to translate client needs to team members.
  • Ability to make well-thought out decisions and adapt to changing environments and requirements.
  • Self-motivating and ability to work well independently as well as using a collaborative team approach.
  • Ability to adhere to established timelines, processes and procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and database software.
  • Data Entry experience and/or life science industry experience.
  • Ability to navigate software and databases.
  • Fluent in German and English language, third European language is a plus.
