Sample Management Coordinator

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sample Management Assistant to join our team at Adecco Personaldienstleistungen GmbH. As a pioneer in personnel services, we have been successfully bringing companies and people together for almost 60 years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage digital forms and sample tracking/forecasting per study contract and OSD specifications.
  • Provide sample tracking services for SampleGISTICS Services projects, working closely with other staff and the PRM department.
  • Coordinate sample check-in/chain-of-custody management, shipping sample specimens to labs and sponsors, and ordering necessary storage codes.
  • Perform specimen storage at all temperatures, including LN2, and prepare reports on inventory and department-specific tasks.
  • Resolve sample discrepancies, monitor edit checks, and work with ISS/BRS on form/sample issues.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate
  • Excellent attention to detail, planning, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent listening and verbal comprehension skills, including ability to translate client needs to team members
  • Ability to make well-thought-out decisions and adapt to changing environments and requirements
  • Self-motivating and ability to work well independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to adhere to established timelines, processes, and procedures
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and database software
  • Data Entry experience and/or life science industry experience
  • Ability to navigate software and databases
  • Fluent in German and English language, third European language is a plus
