Project Manager

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the logistics effort at various sites. This individual must possess extensive experience in general supervisory, maintenance management, supply management, transportation management, and quality management. The PM is responsible for reviewing and submitting timely classified Unit Status Reporting (USR) information.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, execute, and close out large-sized projects.
- Handle project setup, subcontracting strategy, contract changes, subcontractor relations, and reporting.
- Organize, coordinate, and control projects in accordance with established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements.
- Represent the program and KBR in daily contact and communication with clients and customers.
- Manage LOGCAP services, operations, and equipment maintenance provided at the APS.
- Lead a workforce of less than 1,000 direct hires and subcontracted employees.
- Provide clear directions to employees regarding compliance with company, customer, and local standards of conduct.
- Instill a culture of continuous process improvement and high performance.
- Review and make recommendations concerning daily operations.
- Ensure the Program Management Office (PMO) has timely, accurate, and relevant information.
- Build positive professional working relationships with internal and external entities.
- Supervise personnel assigned to the project through subordinate leaders.
- Maintain awareness of operational issues and analyze performance indicators.
- Active U.S. Government issued Secret Security Clearance and maintain it for the duration of employment.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University in Business Administration or Management.
- At least 15 years of management experience in United States Army logistics operations with relevant experience at the brigade level or higher.
- 15 years of progressively responsible management and leadership experience in military tactical and logistics related fields.
- Experience managing 500+ employees.
- Advanced knowledge of military equipment maintenance programs.
- Experience with U.S. financial management systems and in-depth knowledge of U.S. Army readiness reporting.
- Highly organized self-starter capable of working in a fast-paced team environment.
- Project management skills, including forward thinking, leadership, accountability, flexibility, focus under pressure, and respect for diverse perspectives.
- Valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages.
