Android Application Engineer

Cinemo is a global leader in infotainment products, and we're seeking an experienced Android Application Engineer to join our Software Engineering department.

As an Android expert, you will develop innovative mobile apps for the Android platform, leveraging our award-winning IVI products. Your focus will be on creating high-quality, robust, and maintainable code, while staying up-to-date with the latest Android technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain mobile apps using our core product
  • Collaborate with software engineers, UX designers, solution architects, and other teams to deliver exceptional results
  • Stay current with Android-related technologies and best practices
  • Produce well-documented code and contribute to the growth of our engineering team
Requirements:
  • At least 4+ years of experience in Android Application development
  • Excellent Kotlin programming skills using the Google Android SDK
  • Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles and patterns
  • Very good experience in CarPlay
  • Ability to read and understand C++ and Java source code
  • Self-motivated, self-reliant, and solution-driven, with a passion for learning and innovation
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills
