Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Internal Audit Manager to join our team in Munich. As a key member of our internal audit function, you will be responsible for developing and implementing an integrated audit plan, leading audits of various business activities, and ensuring the effectiveness of controls and risk management processes.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Group Head of Internal Audit in developing an integrated audit function
- Participate in the setup and updates of the Annual Audit Plan
- Lead in organizing, conducting, and documenting financial and operational audits
- Ensure the Internal Audit function acts as a strong, independent, and objective assurance and consulting function
- Manage the audit findings log to ensure appropriate Internal Audit follow-up
- Regularly present the work performed by the Internal Audit team to the Country/Region Leadership and Audit Committee
- Perform special projects as deemed necessary by management
Requirements:
- Strong competence in external/internal audit within an international audit firm
- Preferably experience in internal audit in an international group
- Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English and German
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Business partnering and strong communication skills
- Dynamism, precision, and persuasive abilities
- Ability to work under limited supervision with latitude for initiative and judgment
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills
