Senior Finance Officer

Finance in Motion is a global impact asset manager dedicated to sustainable development in low and middle-income countries. We develop and advise impact investment funds that bring together public and private investors to address climate change, strengthen biodiversity conservation, and promote economic opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the accounting of certain legal entities
- Complete quarterly and annual financial closing process tasks
- Prepare and monitor cash planning, liquidity reporting
- Prepare consolidated financial statements
- Contribute to tax compliance and ensure controls and documentation
- Optimize financial processes and support projects
- Work closely with external tax advisors, accountants, and auditors
- Support the controlling function
- Represent the Finance Manager in their absence
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Proficient knowledge of accounting (German GAAP), financial reporting, preferably in the financial sector or audit company
- Knowledge of German taxation (VAT, Income Tax)
- Experience with financial regulation (BaFin) preferred
- Experience with DATEV preferred
- Hands-on approach as a generalist in a department with a wide range of responsibilities
