Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Officer Finance to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Day-to-day accounting for certain legal entities
- Completing quarterly and annual financial closing process tasks
- Preparing and monitoring cash planning, liquidity reporting
- Preparing consolidated financial statements
- Contributing to tax compliance and ensuring controls and documentation
- Process optimization and project support
- Working closely with external tax advisors, accountants, and external auditors
- Supporting the controlling function
- Representing the Finance Manager in case of absence
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Bachelor degree or higher
- Proficient knowledge of accounting (German GAAP), financial reporting, preferably in the financial sector or audit company (Big4 experience is preferred)
- Knowledge of German taxation (VAT, Income Tax)
- Experience with financial regulation (BaFin) preferred
- Experience with DATEV preferred
- Hands-on approach as a generalist in a department with a wide range of responsibilities
