Are you interested in contributing to a dynamic team within a leading financial services company? We are seeking to expand our Employee Technology Operational Support Team by adding a dedicated and enthusiastic intern eager to gain comprehensive experience in technical assistance.

This team plays a crucial role in enabling the success of various departments by ensuring they have the necessary IT resources and support to perform effectively. They address technical issues, provide assistance with challenges, and supply equipment as required.

Primarily focused on supporting employees, this role is essential in enhancing their ability to serve our clients. The work is diverse and directly influences the efficiency of operations. From resolving minor hardware issues to recovering critical information, the team interacts with all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular checks on all audiovisual and collaboration tools.
  • Offer additional support to various teams within the Employee Technology domain as needed.
  • Assist in delivering first-level support to employees at designated support areas.
  • Manage the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of loaner devices.
  • Communicate effectively through chat, ticketing systems, and face-to-face interactions.
  • Troubleshoot and provide support for our Ethernet networks and VPN connections.
  • Assist both on-site and remote employees.
  • Process and fulfill requests for access and equipment.

Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of technical terminology and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft technologies, particularly Active Directory.
  • Strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
  • Knowledge of conferencing equipment.
  • Experience with Service Now is a plus, but not mandatory.
