About the Role

This position involves leading business-critical strategic product development projects in an international context with multiple technical and non-technical challenges. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project management, from project start to product release, including industrialization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accountable for achieving defined project results
  • Responsible for executing complex multi-site R&D projects according to the agreed project plan and within agreed boundaries
  • Accountable for defining and meeting relevant quality standards for own projects
  • Responsible for defining competencies and resources needed and building up a performing project team
  • Responsible for defining the overall project plan in consultation/agreement with all relevant management levels and stakeholders
  • Responsible for exercising judgement on project set-up, competitive timelines, budget, efficient execution, changes, and risks
  • Responsible for managing all requested changes and establishing a change management process
  • Responsible for analyzing project risks and developing scenarios to overcome these risks
  • Responsible for actively driving improvements in project execution to achieve agreed business targets

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a technical field
  • Minimum 5 years proven track record in leading complex projects for product development within an international and technical business environment
  • Experience within Semiconductors is a benefit
  • Expert in Project Management with excellent knowledge in state-of-the-art project management tools and their application
  • PMI certification or similar is a clear benefit
  • Proven leadership skills in leading project teams in a global, intercultural environment
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English. German skills are a plus
