About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated student to work on a cost-optimization project related to industrial cooling towers. The project involves analyzing recent cooling tower designs in terms of investment and operation costs, investigating the cooling tower market, and developing a structured guideline to qualify available designs based on their cost impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze recent cooling tower designs to identify areas for cost reduction
  • Investigate the cooling tower market to identify available solutions and their cost implications
  • Develop a structured guideline to qualify available designs based on their cost impact
  • Establish a workflow to define the company's future cooling water purchasing strategy
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in process engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a similar field
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fluent communication skills in English or German
