Project Overview

We are seeking a dedicated student to engage in a significant cost-optimization initiative focused on industrial cooling towers. These essential systems play a crucial role in various sectors, including cryogenics, petrochemicals, and electrolysis, and significantly influence the financial viability of industrial operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct a thorough analysis of contemporary cooling tower designs, emphasizing both investment and operational costs.
  • Explore the cooling tower market to compile a comprehensive catalog of available solutions, considering both open and closed circuit systems, as well as hybrid alternatives.
  • Formulate a structured guideline to evaluate existing designs based on their financial implications.
  • Develop a workflow and outline a future strategy for cooling water procurement, focusing on technology and value engineering for all company facilities.
Candidate Profile
  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in process engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field, with strong academic performance.
  • Ability to work independently while demonstrating a keen interest in exploring interdisciplinary connections.
  • Enjoys collaborative problem-solving and teamwork.
  • Fluent communication skills in English or German.
