Accountant Reinsurance US Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
As a US Reinsurance Accountant at Hannover Re, you will be responsible for processing statements of account and claims processing for the US Casualty business. This includes technical scrutiny, correspondence and reconciliation with internal interfaces and external customers, electronic archiving of documents, and maintaining the accounts set up for our business partners.
Key Requirements:
- Degree in business administration or commercial training
- Initial experience in accounting (e.g. from the areas of insurance, banking, tax) and in the expert processing of statements of account is an asset
- Curiosity to familiarise yourself with different IT landscapes
- Good Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
- Independent user skills in German and English
- Very good numerical reasoning and capacity for analytical thinking
- Self-reliant and independent style of working
- Assured and service-minded approach to internal and external customers
