Job Opportunity at Talanx AG
Talanx AG is a leading insurance and reinsurance company with a global presence. We are seeking a highly skilled Reinsurance Accountant to join our team in Hanover.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a modern accounting structure for Talanx cedents in Latin America.
- Verify and balance reinsurance data to process statements of accounts and balances for Talanx AG and Talanx Reinsurance Broker.
- Ensure quality management, coordination, and timely delivery of accounting data for internal and external clients.
- Collaborate with the development and optimization of technical tools and applications used within the accounting process.
- Communicate with internal and external clients in an internationally formed environment.
- Accounting Reconciliation of reinsurance Statements of account.
- Develop standardization of the Accounting Process for Cedents.
Your Profile:
- Professional education in economics or comparable studies.
- Ideal work experience in Insurance and/or reinsurance, financial or technical accounting.
- Ideal work experience with reinsurance accounting systems (ProRis, Re7, SAP FS-RI).
- Ambitious and empathic team player, geared towards taking over new tasks and facing new challenges.
- Open and solution-oriented mindset.
- Confident handling of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office software, familiar with tools to deal with large data sets (SQL, Power-BI).
- Fluent in German and English, other languages as Portuguese, Spanish would be an advantage.
