Financial Accountant

We are bike-components, an online shop offering over 340 brands and more than 1,000 products to cater to the diverse needs of cyclists. As a Financial Accountant / Tax Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial stability and compliance of our company.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the financial accounting, including accounts payable and receivable, and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Assign and verify costs to the correct cost centers and cost accounts.
- Prepare and maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy of financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and analysis.
- Oversee all tax-related matters, including tax compliance and planning.
- Collaborate with the IT department to implement and maintain our ERP system.
- Communicate closely with various departments to ensure seamless financial operations.
- Continuously improve internal processes and procedures.
- Act as the primary point of contact for our external accounting firm.
- Completed education in accounting or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in financial accounting and tax.
- Knowledge of consolidation processes in a group environment is a plus.
- Strong understanding of financial processes and procedures.
- Experience in the retail or e-commerce industry is desirable.
- Structured, meticulous, and solution-oriented working style.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong team player with a high level of autonomy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Dynamics 365 Business Central.
