We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant / Tax Specialist to join our team at bike-components, a leading online shop for biking enthusiasts. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing our financial accounting, including accounts receivable and payable.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Manage financial accounting, including accounts receivable and payable, to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Properly allocate and verify costs to maintain a transparent and compliant financial record.
- Prepare asset accounting and assist in monthly closing and reporting to provide valuable insights for business decision-making.
- Handle all tax-related matters, including compliance and planning, to minimize tax liabilities and ensure regulatory adherence.
- Participate in the transition to our ERP system to ensure a seamless integration and optimal use of financial tools.
- Collaborate closely with various departments to ensure financial data accuracy and consistency.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance internal efficiency.
- Act as the primary point of contact for tax office inquiries and correspondence.
- Completed training as Bilanzbuchhalter or Steuerfachgehilfe.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in financial accounting, preferably in a trade or e-commerce environment.
- Familiarity with consolidating group accounts is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of financial processes and procedures.
- Knowledge of trade or e-commerce is a plus.
- Structured and solution-oriented work approach.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in German and English.
- Advanced skills in MS-Office, especially Excel & Dynamics 365 Business Central.
