Global Category Management Assistant

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to support our Global Category Managers in their daily work with local MCC country organizations, international suppliers, and the Metro Sourcing organization based in Asia and Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in global category management data and market analyses to identify potential new Own Brand Projects
  • Support project management for the category Gastro Appliances
  • Conduct international benchmarking of competition to identify specifications, customer requests, and market shares
  • Prepare international buying team meetings, including administrative support, data analysis, and PowerPoint presentations
  • Review and optimize master data on SKU-level

Requirements:

  • Enrolled in Bachelor or Master studies
  • Excellent oral and written English skills
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • International experience is an advantage
