As a Global Category Management Assistant, you will support the Global Category Managers in their daily work with local MCC country organizations, international suppliers, and the Metro Sourcing organization based in Asia and Europe.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing global category management data and market analyses to identify potential new Own Brand Projects
  • Supporting Project Management for the category Gastro Appliances
  • Conducting international benchmarking of competition to identify specification, customer requests, and relevant market shares
  • Reviewing and optimizing Master data on SKU-level (MBS)

Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in Bachelor-/ Master studies
  • Excellent oral and written English (company language is English)
  • Excellent MS Office (especially PowerPoint, Excel) and database management skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Eager to get to know global category management
  • International experience is an advantage
