Senior Product Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Designer to join our team at Zenjob GmbH. This role is perfect for a creative and analytical product designer with hands-on user research experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for understanding enterprise user needs and translating them into actionable design solutions that drive success.
Zenjob is on a mission to become the digital staffing platform delivering companies the best staffing experience with the highest flexibility and reliability, and workers the best choice and fair pay for side jobs. Our service is available in over 39 cities in Germany. Our growth financing round of $50 million (€45 million) from February 2022 is helping us to scale our platform and add new data-based automation features for our rapidly growing customer base.
Your Responsibilities- Design and prototype with a focus on responsive and adaptive design principles, ensuring a seamless and accessible user experience across all devices.
- Conduct user research to uncover insights into user behaviors, needs, and pain points, especially in enterprise contexts, and utilize these insights to inform product decisions and build great products.
- Be a trusted partner to product managers, and collaborate closely with engineers and stakeholders to conceptualize and implement design solutions that meet business and user needs.
- Utilize Figma and other design tools to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs, incorporating feedback to refine the product continuously.
- Over 4 years of relevant design experience with a focus on product or user research.
- Previous experience working in a start-up/scale-up or fast growth environment, eager to embrace changes, iterate quickly, see challenges as opportunities.
- Previous experience achieving meaningful impact (moving the needle of a key business or product metric) and being able to make good decisions based on business context, product data and user understanding.
- Confident German speaker, able to conduct interviews in German.
- Proficiency in Figma and other design and prototyping tools, backed by a strong grasp of design fundamentals.
- A strong portfolio that showcases your skill in product design, user research, and your ability to tackle complex problems with strategic design thinking.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Product Management or a related field, or equivalent experience.
