We are seeking to expand our Employee Technology Operational Support Team by adding a dedicated and enthusiastic intern who is eager to gain a comprehensive understanding of technical support.

This team plays a crucial role in empowering various departments by ensuring they have the necessary IT resources and assistance to perform effectively. They address technical issues, offer support for various challenges, and manage equipment needs.

Primarily focused on supporting employees, this role is essential in enhancing their ability to serve our customers. The work is diverse and has a direct influence on operational efficiency. From resolving minor equipment issues to recovering lost data on significant projects, the team interacts with all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular checks on all AV/Collaboration tools.
  • Provide supplementary support to various teams within the Employee Technology domain as required.
  • Assist in delivering first-level support to employees at designated support locations.
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain loaner technology.
  • Communicate effectively through chat, ticketing systems, and face-to-face interactions.
  • Troubleshoot and provide support for Ethernet networks (LAN/WAN) and VPN connectivity.
  • Assist both on-site and remote employees.
  • Process and fulfill requests for access and equipment.

Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of technical terminology and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory.
  • Strong customer service orientation, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of conferencing technology.
  • Experience with Service Now is a plus, but not mandatory.
