At RWE, we're looking for a skilled ServiceNow technical lead to join our team. As a key member of our department, you'll be responsible for planning, designing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions that meet our architectural standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership in the planning, design, and implementation phases of ServiceNow projects.
  • Offer consulting services to internal teams and platform users on ServiceNow best practices, capabilities, and implementation strategies.
  • Customize and configure the ServiceNow platform to align with business processes and requirements.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with ServiceNow vendors to stay informed about new releases and obtain support when needed.
  • Monitor platform performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize system resources for optimal responsiveness.
  • Implement and enforce security best practices, conduct regular security audits, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Understand ServiceNow license modules, contracts, and support in the preparation of contract amendments.
  • Act as a single point of contact (SPOC) for ServiceNow-related communications.

Requirements:

  • IT education with several years of experience or a degree in (Business) Informatics.
  • Professional understanding of ServiceNow architecture, scripting (JavaScript), and web technologies with current certifications at best.
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with other systems and applications, ensuring seamless data flow across the organization.
  • Strong ability to design and implement workflows and automate business processes using ServiceNow tools.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and ability to implement and enforce security policies.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and support teams effectively.
  • Experience in managing projects related to ServiceNow implementations, upgrades, or customization using agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks with Scrum.
  • Fluency in written and spoken German and English.
