About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Android Engineer to join our team at Gymondo GmbH. As an Android Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative mobile applications that meet the needs of our users.

As a member of our cross-functional team, you will work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to conceptualize and build solutions that align with our business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with the team to design and develop high-quality Android applications using Kotlin and Android Jetpack Suite.
  • Ensuring code quality by writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code, and participating in code reviews.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our development processes and product quality.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2+ years of experience in Android development, with a strong proficiency in Kotlin, Android Studio, and Android Jetpack Suite.
  • Knowledge of best practices, including SOLID, Clean Code, and MVVM architecture.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex challenges and come up with innovative solutions.
  • A genuine passion for technology and mobile app development.
