Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Android Engineer to join our Logistics Deliveries tribe at Delivery Hero. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality, architecturally sound systems that meet our business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable and reliable Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize features and technical requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of technical vision and strategy for our Android applications.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Android technologies and trends.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on Android development.
  • Experience with Kotlin and Java programming languages.
  • Strong understanding of Android architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Experience with server-driven UI architectures.
  • Experience in measuring, monitoring, and improving app performance.
