Job Title: Android Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Android Engineer to join our Logistics Deliveries tribe at Delivery Hero. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building high-quality, architecturally sound systems that meet our business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable and reliable Android applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technological improvements
  • Lead the creation and improvement of Android systems
  • Challenge the status quo and propose iterable improvements aligned with business goals
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of professional software development experience in Android
  • Experience working with server-driven UI architectures
  • Experience in measuring, monitoring, and improving app performance
  • Ability to ship consumer-facing, high-quality, mobile products
Nice to Have:
  • People/leadership skills, able to lead discussions with PM, developers, and design teams
  • Passion for new technologies and willingness to mentor and teach
  • Experience in large-scale product and teams (30+ team size)
