CMC Markets, a leading global provider of online trading and investing, is seeking a seasoned professional to lead its Compliance and Anti-Financial Crime department in Europe.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the capital market sector, with a strong background in regulatory compliance and risk management.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing regulatory developments across Europe and Germany, assessing their applicability, and proposing solutions for implementation.
  • Designing and delivering compliance training to staff members, ensuring the continued development of documentation in line with the changing regulatory environment.
  • Cultivating strong relationships with regulators, managing interactions, and dialogue.
  • Representing the Compliance and Anti-Financial Crime department in internal and external committees and panels.
  • Maintaining and promoting communication with key stakeholders across CMC Markets Germany GmbH, Europe, and the Group.
  • Managing regulatory audits, coordinating remediation activities, and providing a strong lead in the proactive support of the risk process.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to liaise with internal and external customers with tact and diplomacy.

Professional language skills in English and German are required, as well as a willingness to learn new regulatory regimes and adapt to local considerations.
