Electrical Systems Specialist

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough testing and commissioning of electrical motors and gearboxes to meet industry standards and specifications.
  • Conduct functional tests, load tests, and performance evaluations to verify the proper operation of motors and gearboxes.
  • Develop and implement Testing & Commissioning procedures for your sub-system, based on defined specifications for subsystems in your area of specialization.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Verification & Validation subsystem leaders to optimize site tests and share resources between platform and site testing.
  • Participate in Verification & Validation tests in the lab, as needed, under the guidance of the Verification & Validation Manager.
  • Report on anomalies arising during site testing and work with the engineering team to resolve them.

Your Qualifications

  • Degree in engineering (preferably electronics or embedded systems) or equivalent, with experience in Testing & Commissioning or Verification & Validation activities.
  • Excellent knowledge of English and German (read, written, spoken).
  • Proficiency in MATLAB and Python for data analysis and automation in testing processes.
  • Flexibility and mobility, with availability for occasional short missions in different locations.
  • An analytical approach to testing and problem-solving.
