Electrical Motor and Gearbox Specialist

At Alstom, we're shaping the future of rail mobility. Our team in Hennigsdorf is looking for a skilled Electrical Motor and Gearbox Specialist to join our ranks.
As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for performing testing and commissioning of electrical motors and gearboxes to ensure they meet industry standards and specifications. You'll conduct functional tests, load tests, and performance evaluations to verify the proper operation of motors and gearboxes.
Developing Testing & Commissioning procedures for your sub-system based on defined specifications for subsystems in area of specialization to meet contractual requirements is also a crucial part of this role. You'll interface with Engineering and Verification & Validation subsystem leaders for optimizing site tests and sharing competent resources between platform and site test.
We're looking for someone with a degree in or passion for engineering (preferably electronics or embedded systems) or equivalent and experience in Testing & Commissioning or Verification & Validation activities. Good knowledge of English and German (read, written, spoken) is also essential. Proficiency in MATLAB and Python for data analysis and automation in testing processes is a plus.
